The data security implementation and training materials are designed to help dealers understand the requirements outlined in the primary data security documents and provide specific instructions to implement solutions that meet these requirements. The primary data security documents include the Information Security Program (ISP), Identity Theft Protection Program (ITPP) and Privacy and Data Policy (PDP).

The implementation guide offers an explanation of each document and its key requirements, as well as step-by-step instructions to implement both required solutions and additional recommended security measures. The implementation guide addresses the following topics: program overview, data overview, document overview (ISP, ITPP, PDP), organization changes, process enhancements, systems security, paper forms/reports security, training overview, and additional information and support.

The implementation workplan provides a list of key implementation steps to help dealers plan and manage the implementation. The training videos include instructions for implementing the program, as well as key data security policies and procedures which must be followed by all dealership employees.
